Deepshikha Bhuyan
Deepshikha Bhuyan is a dedicated Sattriya artist currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Sattriya Dance at Cotton University since 2021. She holds an M.Sc. in Anthropology from Gauhati University (2018) and a B.Sc. in Anthropology from Arya Vidyapeeth College, Guwahati (2015). Deepshikha earned a Bisharad (B.Mus) in Sattriya Dance from Sattriya Sanskriti Charcha Kendra in 2015 and continues advanced training in Sattriya Dance and Borgeet. Her performances have graced prestigious platforms including Natabar Nrityanjali, Sur Sangam Vidyalaya, and Vande Bharatam Nritya Utsav, among others. She has been trained for over two decades by renowned gurus such as Anup Jyoti Bhuyan, Jatin Goswami, Ranju Moni Saikia, and Bhaben Borbayan, refining her into a distinguished Sattriya artist. Deepshikha's career blends academic rigor with artistic excellence, showcasing her deep-rooted commitment to preserving and propagating Sattriya culture through academia and performance.
